Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, will conduct a special prayer session for the Governor of the State of Osun, His Excellency, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola.
The prayer scheduled to hold on Thursday, 6th June, 2019 at the monarch’s palace square in Iwo will commence by 10am prompt.
Interested individual most especially religious leaders – Muslims, Christians and traditionalists are enjoined to grace the event premised on supplication for a successful tenure for Governor Gboyega Oyetola as the number one citizen of the state.
As contained in a statement by Oluwo’s press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, and made available to journalists “I’ve chosen to support any government in power with my physical, spiritual and intellectual endowments. As a responsible father to the nation, I pioneered leadership prayers for the nation as a segment of my spiritual contribution to having a divined direction of policy formulations and implementations for the elected and appointed government officials”.
“I’ve launched my annual leadership prayer as one of my self imposed national assignments. As a new governor, Oyetola deserves supplication for a successful tenure in office to build on the achievements of his predecessor. I will lead a state prayer for him. This is not about any party, it is about government”.
“I hereby called on various religious leaders, stakeholders and general public to remember the nation’s leaders at large in prayer because prayer for leaders is prayer for the nation”.
Oluwo charged patriotic citizens to show a seed of prayer for leaders for positive directions to benefit general public.
