Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has commiserated with the royal family of Oba Idowu Oniru who died yesterday.
Oluwo, in his condolence message, described the death of Oniru as a vacuum in the traditional institution, praying for continuous guidance for the family of the deceased.
Oba Akanbi said the late Oniru was a pillar to the institution and urged his dynasty to sustain the good legacy left behind by the late Oba.
“I commiserate with the family of Oba Idowu Oniru most especially Aremo Oniru on the demise of his majesty. He would be missed dearly as an asset. It was a great loss but we can’t question God. I will implore Aremo Segun Oniru to weather the trying time and take charge of family administration. The late Oniru has written his dynasty name in gold. He has made progressive marks worthy of emulation in the traditional council. We are proud of his leadership style. I’m hopeful his legacy will be sustained by Aremo Segun Oniru”
“His death was a vacuum in the traditional institution. I pray for continuous guidance and protection of his family. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. We are bereaved in the traditional council. We pray again for eternal rest of our colleague”
